Red Crow Community College is a First Nations college with locations in Standoff and Lethbridge. Our mission is to meet the cultural, educational, and training needs for Kainaiwa and beyond. The college provides leadership through its programs and service to nurture self-realization based on Kainayssini.
We are currently seeking a AVP of Operations to work as part of the senior executive team and directly reports to the President . This role provides leadership and oversees IT, Funding & Grants, Finance, O&M staff, other departments and governing bodies. The VP leads the Executive Committee and serves on the Academic and Research Committee.
The AVP Operations must be an excellent communicator and a systems thinker. The AVP Operations must be able to prioritize and complete large volumes of work in critical time periods and work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals and groups. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary, and proficient in Microsoft Officeprograms.
A Masters or a Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to management is required. Professional designations in accounting, IT, or O&M are an asset. A working knowledge of Blackfoot language and an understanding of Blackfoot culture is an asset. A minimum of five years in related experience, with preference given to candidates that have demonstrated senior level administrative achievements in administration at a First Nations college or institution.
The start date is immediate or when a suitable candidate is available. This position offers a competitive salary with benefits.
