Program Overview

The one-year Business Administration certificate will ladder into a two-year Business Administration diploma. This allows students to receive one or two credentials, depending on their needs.
The business certificate will provide learners theory-into-practice management education, allowing students to learn and apply concepts in real-world settings. This will lead to the development of skill sets that are transferable to a wide spectrum of employment opportunities. Skill development will encompass areas of business communication, human resource management, contract law, organizational development, accounting, finance, economics, marketing, and technology.

Admission Requirements
-    Alberta high school diploma, or equivalent
-    English Language Arts 30-1 with a minimum grade of 65%, or equivalent
-    Math 30-1 with a minimum grade of 50% or Math 30-2 with a minimum grade of 75% or equivalent
-    Accuplacer test

Length of Program
The Business Administration certificate is a two-semester program comprised of 10 courses (5 courses per semester).
Upon successful completion of the Business Administration certificate, learners can ladder into the Business Administration diploma and complete an additional two-semesters of 10 courses (5 courses per semester) for a total of 20 courses.
Each semester is four months in length.
